Health 10x Helping Founders Take Their Idea to the Clinic

Sam van Bohemen (CEO and Co-Founder of nuroflux) joined Health 10x in 2021 mid-way into his PhD studies.

With a strong technical background as a biomedical engineer, Sam recognised the need for support to build his company and business, refine his medical device prototyping and connect with the right healthcare and research professionals.

Throughout Health 10x, Sam developed his commercialisation skills and took his device from a simple design to a clinic-ready device, from bench to bedside. The device is now in clinical trials with our key program delivery partner The George Institute for Global Health. Channel 9 New report below.

Dr Steven Vasilescu from NeoGenix

Combining his technical expertise with a personal drive to improve reproductive medicine, he is committed to reshaping fertility care with hardware and AI-driven technologies.

Ellen Gonda from GonGlobal

  • Ellen’s passion for innovation in reproductive health is rooted in her own IVF journey. Confronting the physical and emotional toll of fertility treatments firsthand, she saw an urgent need for better, less invasive solutions.

With GonGlobal, she is pioneering a new approach to IVF drug delivery—one that minimises discomfort and maximises accessibility. Her mission is clear: to revolutionise fertility care and ensure women have access to groundbreaking advancements that make the process easier and more effective.

Mark Grosser from 23Strands

  • Mark's work is deeply personal—his interest in genomics was sparked by his own family’s experience with health challenges that could have benefited from genetic insights.
