Complete the Mentor Registration Form.
Review and sign the Mentor Terms & Conditions, then email the signed copy to founders@unsw.edu.au.

Ways to Mentor at UNSW Founders
There are three ways to share your experience and support founders across the UNSW ecosystem.
Office Hours
Flexible one-on-one mentoring sessions where founders can seek advice, test ideas and get support on specific challenges. You set your availability, and founders book time when there is a relevant fit. We can provide meeting rooms, or you could do ir online via a booking link.
UNSW Founders Programs
Support founders taking part in structured programs such as Peter Farrell Cup, New Wave, Pre X, 10x Accelerator and Spinout Fellowship. These opportunities usually have set dates, cohort context and a defined mentoring commitment.
Founders <> Mentor Platform
Our upcoming mentoring platform will make it easier for founders and mentors to connect directly, book sessions and build ongoing mentoring relationships.

Mentoring Opportunities

Peter Farrell Cup
Support student founders taking their first step into entrepreneurship through early idea validation, customer discovery and pitch feedback.
Commitment: 1 hour per week
Dates: 3 June – 23 July
New Wave
Support women entrepreneurs as they validate ideas, build confidence and grow their ventures.
Commitment: 1 hour per week

Pre X
Support early-stage founders as they test assumptions, sharpen their business model and prepare for their next stage of growth.
Commitment: To be confirmed

First Thursdays
Join UNSW Founders’ monthly community event featuring candid founder conversations, startup insights and informal networking with founders, mentors and ecosystem leaders.

Female Founder Showcase
Celebrate women-led startups, connect with founders and meet the people helping them grow. Mentors are warmly invited to join the evening and visit the dedicated Mentor Lounge.

Pitch Night South West
Meet emerging founders from South West Sydney as they pitch live for funding, feedback and community support. A great opportunity to connect with local innovation.
