Female Founders Showcase

Women all around Australia are building incredible things. This event is here to celebrate that!

The Female Founders Showcase is a warm, high-energy evening brought to you by UNSW Founders to spotlight women-led startups and connect the people who want to see more women starting, building, and leading.

Whether you want to attend the event, participate in the experience, or recognise someone making a difference, there’s a place for you to be part of the celebration.

Be inspired by women who’ve done it, in a room with people who get it.

Program details

New Wave offers UNSW students, staff and alumni who identify as women, at the earlier stages of their entrepreneurial journey, access to skill-building workshops, startup coaches, and industry-leading mentors. The principles taught in New Wave have been tried and tested, with profound results for the hundreds of women we have worked with from all over the world. New Waves runs twice annually, with an in-person and online version. Our mission is to inspire and support women to pursue their entrepreneurial endeavours, in a supportive community environment.
