Top 10 Peter Farrell Cup finalists announced

Celebrating its 20-year anniversary the Peter Farrell Cup (PFC) is UNSW’s longest running student-led and teams-based competitive ideas program designed to fast-track the next generation of entrepreneurs.

This year, from a pool of 79 applications, 46 student teams were selected to participate in a series of experiential workshops to help build the skills and mindset necessary to test, integrate, pitch and potentially launch a real business. Each team was also matched with an industry mentor to enhance their personal growth and knowledge.

Last week, the teams pitched their ideas in the preliminary Pitch Fests, with the top 10 now chosen to compete for a share in $20,000 at the Finals Night on 20 May. This year’s finalists are incredibly inspiring and represent a great cross-section across many faculties, including Business, Engineering, Science and Medicine, with one team from UNSW Canberra.

The Peter Farrell Cup 2020 finalists:

  • Airshuffler: streamlining your airport experience so you never miss a flight.

The Peter Farrell Cup would not be possible without the generosity and valuable contribution of our many supporters, most significant the Farrell Family Foundation.  We want to thank  everyone who has contributed to this program’s continued success and  congratulate all the teams for their participation. This is the beginning of your entrepreneurship journey!
