Recently, I have been able to complete The Partnership Lab Kickstart Playbook delivered via the Partnership Lab. This is a quick online course delivered in under 30 minutes to help get you started with different learnings to cultivate better partnerships with clients. It is currently lead through a framework which provides a step-by-step approach to build confidence in reaching out to partners and can be used repeatedly as needed.  You can also access this resource as often and as many times as you would like.

As I was led to this program, as I released that one thing has become vastly clear to me as a lot of early-stage Founders know partnerships matter, but very few feel confident pursuing them. This is a key skill needed in facilitating Startup growth and thus wanted to explore how this skill can be explored.

This realisation was prompted by a chat with one of my founder friends, after they experienced consistent friction and came to a realisation that there is friction between founders and cultivating the right relationships with the right people. As they don't know where to establish the first point of contact with stakeholders.

This program follows the intent deck, which outlines how partners work together through establishing guiding principles which dictate the purpose of the relationship. This document helps to facilitate collaboration and can serve as a roadmap for onboarding and partnership execution. I found this template quite useful as it helped to facilitate a clear 5 slide intent deck you can use to execute meeting intentions efficiently and effectively.

Alongside having a clear established value communication, it allows specific compelling and easily repeatable numeric values to demonstrate seriousness. The provided FAST Framework is also designed to help accelerate trust-building in early partner meetings. FAST, standing for Focus, Align, Simplify, and Trust.

The Partnership Playbook encourages participants to record a meeting through LOOM where the screen capture tool records voice and video, which includes a 60 second video walkthrough of the five-slide presentation. This helps establish intention, facial expressions, and slides that cannot be left alone.

Throughout this course, I managed to develop several skills in aiding relationship building within different companies. This is cultivated through showcasing several different skillsets through clear value communication.

Additionally, if you manage to make it to the end you can access an exclusive GPT just for this program in specific which allows to you better explore these programs.

I encourage you to participate in this quick and easy to learn piece. Please see this link below with this free version of this course exclusive for the founder's community here.
