“The biggest surprise would definitely be the sheer number of pitch decks that were provided week by week. Although this can be a taken as a good thing, thinking it increases how much you practice, but at times it did feel that the program was a bit inclined towards using bright students as outsourced VCs.” 

“My method of making the most out of the program was unconventional in my opinion. Plug and Play after each pitch session, released One Pagers, which listed all the company names, descriptions, and capital raised. Since my goal was to expand my view and ideas through the program, this was the most efficient way to do so by skimming through one-pagers and researching the heck out of the companies that interested me while saving time throughout my crunched-up schedule.”

“That the student themselves will have to figure out how they can make the most of this program - Self Learning in this program far outranks any information provided by the program coordinators. The info sessions are minimal but you get to analyse big companies and businesses in the making in return.”

“For me, that one reason is to expand your view, vision, and ideas by looking at what the market is currently innovating. I think anyone with this view in mind would be more at an advantage rather than someone coming in to learn about venture capital.”
