The future of sustainable shipping.
The shipping industry has chosen green methanol fuel to hit their net zero targets. Whilst progressive operators are driving this trend, they are paying 3-10x existing fuel prices. This situation is not sustainable, and is leading to uncertainty and delayed action from the wider industry. Our solution for the shipping sector is to reduce cost. The current technology needs two main steps to convert feedstock to methanol, via a syngas intermediate. We can do it in one, more than halving the cost. Our proprietary, bioinspired and modular technology is like a solar panel, but it makes methanol, not electricity.
